Legal And Safety Issues in Work Based Learning
VT-HEC Office 2 Prospect Street, Montpelier, Vermont, United StatesThis course provides a thorough examination of the legal and safety issues that affect work-based and community-based learning programs and experiences. Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of federal and Vermont labor and safety requirements and be able to provide effective systems that ensure safe and legal student experiences.
Understanding and Supporting Individual Learning Needs (Course)
This course is a combination of a 3-part workshop series and additional individual asynchronous work. It fulfills the elective requirement for the Neurodiversity and Inclusion Graduate Certificate Program. It is also open to all educators and other professionals whose work impacts students in PreK-12 schools and beyond.
Transforming Trauma (Level 1): The School as a Healing Community
In the course we will study the harmful effects of trauma on students, their families, and the workforce, as well as the unique, adaptive capacities people form under conditions of pain and adversity.
